The sale on My Twinn Cuddlies ($10 each) ends today! I uploaded some clearer photos of my restuffed doll. There are also a couple "zooms" on the face mold, although I re-freckled her, so she has more than normal.
Thanks again to Bren for letting us know about the doll sale! Savanna is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I'm excited.

Awww, she's too cute in those close-ups! The extra freckles are really sweet too. Post pics of Savanna when you get her...maybe some before you restuff & after too!

Aww, she's cute, but...why'd you re-wig her? I love Rachel's wig the way it is.

Cute pictures. I think the Cuddlies have very sweet expressions. Rachel has a cute wig, but Cuddlies don't have hair that is very brushable. If you take the original hairstyle out, their hair can easily be ruined. Is that why you re-wigged her? He new wig looks very silky.

Totally adorable Melissa---thanks again for the pics and close-ups! I can't wait to get my Rachel---I bought the polyfil to restuff her today. I do have a question---what did you use to re-freckle her?
TIA,
Karla

Judi, you're right about why I rewigged her. The hair was ruined when I took it out of the braids. I tried trimming it to look better, and that made things worse, and by that time I thought "oops, she needs a new hairdo!" The wigs are good quality, but if they come in a "style" already, the part is permanent and the hair isn't very styleable. That's one reason I picked Savanna!
Karla, I used the methods on a freckling site. The basic thing is just to water down acrylic paint. Use a very small brush, and a toothpick for littler freckles. If you need more help, Cami posted the URL to a freckling page on the web. I can't remember the address, but those are the intructions I used, and it was so easy to do!

Karla,
Here's the how-to for freckles that Cami posted earlier:

I used it maybe a couple years ago and had to stop myself from freckling all my dolls; it is really fun! (I need to get offline soon to restuff and freckle my new Savanna doll. )
